The Story of Cedric

Leaving the familiar environment and friends in Hong Kong to settle in a totally unfamiliar place can be a shock for anyone. That’s especially challenging for teenages. Immigration is a significant change in a family, but this decision is uaully made by the adults. How do the children manage the separation with their friends, the lifesytle and self-identity that have been built in Hong Kong, their hometown? This episode features a teenage immigrated to the UK, who has shared his experiences and feelings about this big change in life. The struggles he is facing might be similar to those young people who have left Hong Kong and moved to other places with their families.
